SOCAL SERIES POINTS

Each SoCal member’s performance is tracked with a point system as described below.
There is cash for Pros and prizes for Amateurs awarded to the top finishers of each division.
Top finishers in many divisions, (MPO, FPO, MP40, MP50, MP60, FP40, MA1, FA1, MA40, MA50, and MA2), also get an invitation to the Tim Selinske California Cup where teams from NorCal and SoCal compete.

SO CAL MEMBERSHIP REQUIRED
Players must be registered members of So Cal for the current series year at the time of the event and finish all rounds to be awarded any So Cal Series points for that event. There is a registration grace period until January 31. Players registered for So Cal by January 31 earn points for the entire series year. The Series concludes with the SoCal Series Championship weekends.

PARTICIPATION POINTS
Players earn 5 participation points per 18 hole round. On courses with 27 or more holes players earn 7.5 points per round.
The tournament must be completed to earn any participation points.
No participation points are awarded for final 9 or tie breaking playoffs.

PERFORMANCE POINTS
Players earn 1 point for each player in their division that they beat or tie. One extra performance point is awarded for a 1st place tournament victory.

BONUS POINTS
Players get 1 bonus point for each SoCal Series event they finish, regardless of division. Players are limited to 10 bonus points even if they play more than 10 events. Bonus points are awarded to the division played at the SoCal Championships and are added to the SoCal Championships event points. You must play the SoCal Championships event to get any bonus points.

SERIES TOTALS
For each division you played the Series Total for that division is the sum of your 7 best events within that division. You get a Series Total for each division you play.

SERIES WINNERS
Each division has a Series Winner based on the highest Series Total points within the division. Criteria for determining the Series Winners are:
1. Highest Series Total points
2. Most So Cal tournaments played
3. Highest Series Total points across all divisions
4. Head to head results
If the above steps do not break the tie then they will be considered co-winners.
